Pressurizing Pre-Filter Air

Has anyone thought about putting electric fans in the stock air-inlet hole before the filter to better flow cooler air to the filter? I would think this would help cool-down more than anything else and lower temps at idle with the AC on. I know that no electric fan will keep up with a Cummins that is on the boost but maybe it would add a bit of cooler air.
