Lift or Not???!!!

Well, I am in the process of buying a lift kit, wheels and tires, bushwacker fend/flares, and side rails. Specs: 5 1/2 in Skyjacker stage 2, almost new 38" Dick Cepeks w/ american racing rims. I am buying this as a package for an ungodly price. I just cannot decide what I want to do. I want my truck to be fast, but then again I am a redneck.

Will that kit fit 38s? I plan to drag race, hopefully in ATL(my truck is in the shop right now). How much will 38s take off my quarter mile? I am running 265s presently. What about a 34"tire(rare I know)? I just want to see what yalls opinions are. I can't decide... I might just sell the kit. The side rails are for x-cab so they will be in classifieds soon.
