Trans and TC opinions wanted

My '97 auto is soon going to die, it's got most of the signs and 160k. I pull a 8000# trailer for work all over the upper midwest and thankfully it made it thru the summer. I'm looking to replace both the trans and tc late fall or early winter. I'd like to know about the pros and cons of ATS, PRO-LOC,DTT and any other companies system that you guys recommend or discourage purchasing. Not looking to start a war here just looking for info from the guys towing with their trucks, high hp or not. (I dynoed at Mike's Custom Truck's in Northwood, ND 260/600, kinda in the middle or less) I've seen all the adds, talked to several vendors and I know you're all "the best." I want a dependaple tranny and tc bottom line.

'98 Quad cab 3500 4x4 12valve 5spd with 3.54's. #11 plate, K&N, 16.5*, 4 inch exhuast and 3k GSK in the glove box. AMSOIL throughout except for SYNTORQUE in the crashbox.
