new cooling product
well, while at the SEMA show i discovered a different idea on how to keep our motors from over heating, keeping egt's and intake air temps down, and lower tranny temps. Its a really cool idea and i feel that the CTD owner should know about it. Here it is, what u do is get a piece of aluminum pipe, (1/2") shape around the intercooler, trans cooler, etc. It has drilled holes all around it pointing toward the cooler. U have to have a solenoid and a bottle of CO2. Some guys where using NOS, but that can get expensive fast. Anyways, when u are racing, pulling hard, going up a grade, or running on a dyno, u would hit the button and spray cold CO2 all over the cooler. This idea seems like it would really work great. It would probably only be used when u really need it, cause it would start to get expensive after a while. I know that some guys were doing the water spraying in front of the cooler and this is just a offspring of that. I'm gonna make some up for the trucks on the ranch here. Just wanted to pass this idea on, take it for what it's worth!
