Talking Better Way to mount A Pillar!!

Ok, so I have been working on this for a while, it urked me to no end to:

1. Have to paint that damm pillar to match my truck
2. Have to pull the OEM plastic off and stick a guage pillar up there with no form of mounts except a screw.

Well, here is the secret...
If you want to keep your existing A pillar to convert back to no gauges then go to a junk yard and find a wreck truck as close to your year model as possible and get the A pillar off it.

I went home and used a Dremer cut off tool to remove the OEM mount from the pilar. I then got some quick drying epoxy and put the cutout piece in place on the A pillar, applied some epoxy and pushed the Guage pillar into place and held it their till the glue set enough to remove the whole ensamble and glue it better. Once it dried I was able to mount and remove the guage pod just like the factory, with no cheesy screw!!

I have pics if I can figure out how to post them!
