TST has a clutch they don't show on their website
It finally happened. At 20K miles my stock ETH clutch is starting to slip at 1900rpm under full load. I've been seriously considering the south bend product but the TST offering is hard to resist. On the TST website Mark Chapple (sp?) shows only a ceramic button clutch disk (which is comparable to the Con FE). Mark also offers a clutch disk which is more like the Con OFE (better for towing and for backing trailers etc. when you have to "slip" the clutch a little).
Anyway, since I've only got 20K on my rig I'm going to inspect my pressure plate before simply deciding to replace it out of hand. For $250 I bought just the clutch disk. If the pressure plate looks bad then it'll cost another $250, but I won't be out anything except a little downtime.
I will report my findings in a month or so.
Hopefully Mark/TST will put more info about this product on his website in the near future.
