AFE Filters.....anyone use or heard of??

Hello all, I was visiting one of the diesel guru's in town as I begin my quest for bombing, and he suggested I get one of these. He said the brand is AFE, it is similar in appearance of a K&N only the webbing is green. He also said that the engineers who left K&N started this company. He claimed that it flows better than a K&N and filters better. They have a website HttP://www.afefilters.com. Has anyone used this brand or heard of them that can give me some feedback. I have always used K&N on other vehicles and been pleased. Thanks
