Cool/Stealth way to mount backup lights.

Well I had some lights laying around in my garage for a few years and had some time last weekend. Soooo... I mounted the bottom of the light housing to the top of the horizontal receiver hitch tube that goes across the truck. Now they shine out of the little gap between the receiver hitch and the stock bumper. They were narrow 35W fog lights so I don't lose too much from the bumper overhang. I didn't use the bracket, but got some 3M mounting tape to stick the plastic housing to the hitch tube. They're not adjustable or anything, but they serve the purpose. For power, I took a small bolt (3/8" i think) and mashed the wire between the bolt head and a nut. Then stuck the end of the bolt into the center prong/pin of the 7wire trailer connector. If I have to use the connector I just pull the bolt out and let it hang. For ground I used one of the 4 little mounting screws that hold the trailer connector into the metal guard thing. Now they come on in reverse and you can barely tell they're there when they're not on. If I had to do it again, I would have mounted them facing out at about a 30 degree angle since the wide fog beam overlaps each other so much. In that configuration I would get more coverage, but less intensity. An Idea I thought I'd share for the common good.
