all terrian treads for 19.5's???
Friend just bought a 99 F-550. He wants to replace the oems with a mildly aggressive all terrian. Would anybody recommend a 19.5" tire? Thanks.

G-124 is a great tire. Its' the only one I run on my fleet (for drives)
It lasts a long time too. |
19.5" Yokohama TY303 225/70R
I've been very pleased with my Yokohama TY303 rubber for almost two years and 30k miles now, both on and off road in all sorts of weather conditions on my 2nd Gen 24v 3500 6x4.
The added bonus - number 7 also sits in the space where the original factory 16 combo used to be!! Truck details in profile below. |
Huf,
Check out http://www.ricksontruck.com they have there avalible tires organized by size with pictures. i like the looks of the Bridgestone M-716 for an all around all terrain tire. Avaliblity of different models appears to very by size. Ted |
Huf;
I run the Goodyear G124s and I love them! They have a tread that's sort of a cross between most ATs and a MT. On my 265/70/19.5s, the tread blocks are pretty close in the center, but spread out as you get to the edges. Plus, they're siped (sp?) for wet weather. Josiah |
Thanks for the replys everyone. He's checking into the goodyears. Thanks
