TruSpeed Speed Sensor Calibrator
In June, 2001, I bought my Rickson 19.5" wheels and tires. I also got the brand new TruSpeed Speed Sensor Calibrator to correct the odometer and speedometer for the new tire size.
I made the adjustments as indicated in the excellent instructions and have been very happy with the unit. I never saw an ABS or BRAKE light illuminate. It's basically something that you install, set up and forget.
It has worked like a charm until a couple of weeks ago when the speedometer would run past 120 mph any time the key was ON. The odometer clicked off miles at the same rate. (You should have seen the mileage I was getting on my overhead computer.)
I called Superlift, the manufacturer, and talked to a tech rep. He said to sent the unit in so they could evaluate it. I did. A few days ago, I received a brand new replacement calibrator, which I just installed.
The original calibrator was an expensive item, but obviously the money was well spent. That unit was in my truck for over two years, and Superlift replaced it free without any delay or question. This is a company that stands behind its products.
I highly recommend them.
