Ethical warranty question

If you bought the extended warranty, that does not go into effect for 2 years, and for whatever reason the dealer voided your DC warranty (and your extended - can't do one with out the other), do you get your money back on the purchase price of the extended? Or are you SOL and out the $1500 you spent for the coverage?
