Hookup Laptop to Stereo?

Any brains out there have a good idea for this? I had thought about just getting the cassette adapter because it plugs right into the laptop. Only problem is I don't have a cassette player

. Any other way to wire this into the system? I'm sure there's some contraption out there I haven't seen yet. I would like to be able to have access to thousands of songs (all paid for of course

) rather than just a few burnt CD's. All help is much appreciated.
