Steering Wander???.....................check out T-REX

I have noticed a lot of CTD owners talk about steering wander problems and I just wanted to share my experience with my truck.

First let me say that I am not affiliated with T-REX in any way, other than being a satisfied customer.

I have an 02 QC, LB, 4x4. I bought it last year, used, with about 16000 miles on it. Immediately after purchasing it, I noticed that the truck seemed to want to wander all over the road, and the steering seemed to "float" somewhat. It was tougher to control that my old truck, but I thought maybe you just had to get used to it. I read a bunch of the forums about track bars, lukes link, etc., but never made a decision about how to solve the problem. I thought maybe I would just get used to the problem, or correct it if and when it got really bad.

Several months later, for unrelated reasons, I purchased the T-REX system (with King Shocks). One of the first things that I noticed while driving home from the installation was that and the steering wander basically had gone away. I commented to Kent at T-REX about this and he said one of the benefits of their system (in addition to being able to drive really fast on really rough roads) was the increased control in ALL types of driving conditions.

Again, let me say, I didn't purchase the T-REX system to solve my steering problem, but rather for an off road application. However, one of the many benefits of this system is that I no longer have a steering problem.
