I was riding along today and noticed that every time I shift into 5th gear that I strech about a foot to get it in gear. I have pretty long legs and like to be comfortable so I set the seat back as far as it will go. Consequently, that puts my arm at a strain when I shift.
Does anyone know where I can get a shifter extension or anyone that could make a totally new shift lever several inches longer than the original? I think that it would be very functionable and it would also give the shifter more of a big rig look. The longer length would give the shifter a more exaggerated tilt which I think would make for easier shifts.
What do you think?
