SMARTY S-02A v/s S-03A- What's the difference?

I just bought a new Smarty model S02A.
I read the instructions then went to the madselectronics.com page to check for software downloads, and their d/l page starts with S-03A.

Whats up with that?
What is the difference between the models?

I couldn't find any related articles on TDR, so i figured I ought to start a new one; Share the Knowledge!
