Rentech synthetic diesel fuel

Has anybody heard or might have even tried synthetic diesel fuel? Im just wondering there is a company (Rentech)building a new plant near my cave in California. The plant is going to make diesel fuel , jet fuel (Air Farce) gave ok to use up to 50% in their fuel I thought that was really something when I was in the Farce they had really strick guide lines on jet fuel the web site said that it would have cetane levels higher than usld.
