Ultimate DTT TC/VB Thread!!!

I thought i'd make a flashy title for this thread!

I'm very close to ordering DTT products for my trans rebuild and I was just wondering what combos you are running, as far as torque converter efficiency (89/91/93%) and valve body rating (towing/livestock/hotrod). What you do with your truck, what mods have you done to your truck, and any opinions on the different DTT TC's and VB's would be great too. I'm thinking about going with the 89% TC and Towing VB. Don't know for sure the different classifications of the valve bodies.

I'm not a sled puller by any means, and the closest drag strip (which i've never been to) is 100 miles away (although Brainerd Raceway is only 300 miles or so). I'm mostly looking for a fun ride with the occasional highway kill or interstate race mode. Oh who does that anyway.... I also farm a small amount of land. Although I don't tow anything currently with the truck, I would like the ability if I would have to. I also have a goal of just over 500 HP and 1000 Ft Lbs with this truck, safe and daily-driver streetable. I wish I could have gotten a dyno run in before my trans went out, but I didn't, so I don't know what i'm currently at. I'd like to guess 350-400HP but i'm not for sure.

So what's your guy's and gal's opinions on which converter and valve body does the job?

Trever
