Finally tried BHAF (NAPA 2790)

I like it!

The turbo isn't as shrill, but I can hear more of the good sounds.

EGT that would kiss 1400 now will not exceed 1200. (elev: 6100 ft)

Spoolup seems maybe a hair quicker-- I can't really quantify that.

The main difference is how fast EGTs come down when you get out of it. BIG difference. They come down now almost as fast as they go up.

Best of all, I still have good filtration with no oil on the filter. Turbo cooldown seems faster, too.

One thing I did is grease the outside of the BHAF flange with axle grease to 1) help slip it on and 2) ensure an airtight seal.

I didn't do a heat shield, just some quick protection for the outer wire from the OEM holddown studs.

THIS IS A GREAT BOMB!
