Laser bob is the man no doubt about it

Ok now everyone who knows this guy knows what a good mechanic he is, and what a good person he is overall. Just in case anyone missed it i'm gonna reaffirm it. My banjo broke in the injector pump housing a while ago and we had debated removing it while fixing it so not to have any shaving in the fuel system. Well i took a risk and left it on luckily nothing happened, but the quick fix was short lived since the housing was cross threaded and damaged it wasn't a perfect fit like it was before and it leaked a bit. the leaking became worse and worse until the banjo was bearly even in there.

called bob and this guy was on it. Had to tow my truck there that was kinda hard to find a trailer but luckily a guy that gets his work done at bobs also had one he could use. So they towed it there, i was worried about anything happening to it so they made sure to put it inside. Got on it today after he finished another job with the goal of removing it and getting the housing fixed. (keep in mind i still didn't even pay this man yet)

He did it one better i called him around 4:00 it was out and getting repaired at the local machine shop. (same guy who's gonna host the greeley dyno day, bruce). While they fixed it i spoke to bob about some valves since i have my stock fuel line and my fass fuel line still hooked up, i was wanting to combine them into one line and just have to close a clamp and open another instead of undoing the banjo every time. More work for laser bob suddenly even though it wasn't much it was already 4:00. I got a call around 7:00 and it was gonna be finished tonight so work on coming to get it. This is not the first time i have watched bob work on my vehicle well into the evening, probably wont be the last either, but i'll keep the fingers crossed. i expressed to him that i didn't want to get in the way of his family time and he responded with something like "you probably want your truck don't U"

WEll yes i do but don't sweat it if you need to wait until tomorrow that's ok too. No need to do that. He not only is in tune with all the aftermarket things going on these trucks, but when he installs something it'll be done right. No following up on anything no wondering if it's ok, when it's done by him you can take it to the bank that it is the way it's supposed to be done. I really appreciate the fact that he does such a good job, and that he treats my truck and my stuff just like he would treat his own or even better.

He's also on the cutting edge with a lot of aftermarket information which he gladly is willing to share with us local folk, that's priceless. He's the one who told me to wait for the twins about 2 month, 2 months ago. Now i'm getting a new set of dtt twins which are supposedly the baddest new thing around. Again i can thank him for that too.

Mechanics are often underappreciated and overlooked most of the time unless a guy has a problem with his vehicle. If anyone is in colorado wondering about who they wanna get to install certain things or just to fix existing things, you'd be a fool not to go to this guy. hands down the most qualified guy around here for what we are dealing with. I remember going local and asking folks about injectors from don m. People looked at me like i was speaking chinese. i asked bob he said "oh yeah don m has some edm injectors that are pretty darn good i've heard. Finally someone who had a clue about what's what in this industry. I rememberFirst time bob saw my truck, he gave it a good lookover and found the duals were bearly touching the brake line so we retaped the line with that speacial heat reflective tape. It's nice when someone goes above and beyond what's expected of them and when it happens it's often unnoticed and taken for granted.

Mr. bob thanks again for all the work you've done i reallly appreciate it.

ps. thanks for towing the rig david, appreciate it.
