Uh-oh I think I have a problem!

I recently upgraded the turbo in my truck to a B1-04, everything went well thru the break-in period. Shortly after break-in it started oozing from the joint between the exhaust housing and the bearing housing. the stuff looks and feels like black RTV when the truck is cold and whatever it is it melts and runs down the front side of the exhaust housing when the turbo is hot. I can't tell if there is anything going down the exhaust(it isn't wet or slobbering all over itself) Is it oil leaking past the rear shaft seal or some sort of assembly lube? If there is that much oil leaking (enough to fill the scroll housing up to the joint) into it wouldn't I see some evidence in the exhaust? All the hardware is tight and there is nothing around the drain to suggest that it is the culprit. what do you all think?
