Questions about Southbend Double Disk

Anyone running a Southbend double disk pulling clutch in a 6spd?? Talked to Woody at southbend and he didnt recommend this clutch for a daily driver. He said it was hard on the pickup and was noisy. Need something that i can pull with but is good for a daily driver. I tend to pull up to 50K in the spring, Smoked my Con FE

......Any suggestions or comments??
