boost guage? 21mpg
I am having issues with my boost guage. I am taking it back to the place i bought it to have them check it out - check guage lines and put in new unit to see about accuracy. Turbo seems good - no excess play or oiled up, removed and checked all intercooler lines and boots - sprayed all clamps and junction areas down with brakeclean to see if idle would surge and it stayed same. Anyone ever have a boost gauge go bad over time?
I also have over 300 miles on the new Goerends goodies . What a difference. The wife and i took a trip to Cresson PA to see some friends. 75 mph on the turnpike, and the hill from Altoona to Cresson is good climb. We took rt 30 home from Breezwood - hills and curves. Anywho i have an average of 21 mpg. Truck is running great. EGTs are right around 600 on flat and never over 900- pourin' the chilli to her up hills that is.
diesel truck pulls this weekend at Washington County Ag center near Hagersown - may 21 at 5PM.
