What would cause high oxidation numbers in the oil sample. (using 5w30 HDD 3000) Mine came back at 165. This was with 3k on new oil. Changed the oil b/c copper was high...replaced oil cooler...now have high oxidation. just trying to figure this out so I can quit spending so much dang money on oil

I used the engine flush when I changed it and also blew the intercooler boot off once, but those are the only things I can point a finger at
