Deep Tranmission Pan

I was wondering with the Aluminum pans, do you guys use the large "washer" magnet that is in the stock pan? I was thinking of JB welding it to the bottom of the pan, though it would make it harder to clean. I just hate to have that magnet slosh around and stick to the valve body or something.
