Billet input shaft info needed please

Can anyone tell me the differences ,advantages or disadvantages of a 1 piece billet sonnax(or whoever but I think they are the only 1 piece) input shaft/drum assembly over a more common 2 piece billet input/drum?

1996 3500 Auto 2wd, 4in Jegs exhaust, Autometer pyro (pre),boost & trans temp. Lowered 2.5" front & 4" back. 206hp 508tq stock plate foward no airbox.Currently #100 plate.Trans done by Pro Torque Converters(Melbourne,FL) with Sonnax 1 piece billet input shaft & ATS billet flex plate.Kdp dead.
