How to punch 12V HG for 24V use
Hello everyone. I have a question for the experts. I have a 12 valve fire ring headgasket i bought for my pickup. The only problem is I needed a .020 over gasket and they don't have those. I do have my old marine 12V gasket that's already punched for my 24 valve so I know which holes need to be enlarged. My question is, how do I go about doing it?? Anybody who has done it before please chime in or maybe lead me in the right direction. I was thinking something along the lines of machining a sharp end on a piece of shaft the diameter I need and using that in a press to punch out the holes. I think there are only 4 or 5 that need attention. Thanks in advance
Shawn
