Anyone using Castrol Hypuron S 15w-40 Synthetic Blend ?

I found a local wholesaler who will sell a case of 6 one gallon jugs for $68.53 plus tax. The specs look good and I don't want to jump to a full synthetic yet. I might switch at around 10,000 miles because winter is coming and nights are getting chilly. Any opinions? Thanks
