Aftermath of Smarty...
This is not bad, just got ya to look! :-D
So, I got to "test" out the Smarty this weekend at the local Dyno event. For the most part, i liked it, but definately felt weaker (on #9) than just with my stock software and my Comp on 5x5. Now, I left the Comp off with the Smarty loaded, as I was told it probably would gain me nothing if not hurt preformance gains. Fueled way past the stock software did, and that I liked very much so. BUT, it felt laggy compaired to the Comp on 5x5 from stop to go. Acceleration was much smoother and more controlable.
NOW... the "Aftermath"
I loaded the stock software back so i could give the programmer back to its owner, to only find out, my truck is a complete new beast. I dont know why it would change anything, but when I went back to stock, the software version on the smarty must have some tweeks to it, that is slightly different? Marco, can you let me know why, I am definately not complaining at all. The truck now idles smoother, the same smooth accelleration seems to have stayed, and has definately more power with Smartys stock software than with my original software. My wife even noticed the difference and she was sitting in the passanger seat.
So, my question is this, is the "stock" software that is on the smarty slightly different than what would have been on my 2000 truck stock?
