Oilguard users, be advised

when changing my filter today i notice that the cap/plug on the bottom end of the filter that is set in, was broken free and just hanging inside the element itself, letting all the oil to flow through. i am trying to get ahold of oilguard to make them aware of the issue and to see if they will send me a replacement. the filter had 10,000 miles on it.
