Will a seal kit (p/n 3804899) for a 12v work on a 24v?

I have a timing gear seal kit from my old 97 12v, and I figure its about time I check the KDP on my 99. I assume this seal kit is the same for both years, but does anyone know for sure before I tear it down?

1999 2500 Quad Cab SLT SB 24v 2wd 6-speed - 98,500 miles. Only modes are guages, smarty, and AFE stage 1.
