Replacing clutch - what lube??

What type of grease works well on the input splines? Just some regular old high temp stuff or are folks using brake caliper silicone? I had some trouble with my OFE due to the friction disk binding up on the input shaft, caused some shifting troubles. When I put this 3850 DD in I dont want to have the same issues. Thanks
