P0016 code and Edge/Attitude

I have been throwing a crankshaft/camshaft sensor out of synch code when I put the pedal to the metal. This does not happen every time but it seems like once or twice a month I get the code. I keep my Edge on the 3 (drive) setting.

I was wondering if anyone else who is running an Edge has this occur. I have not noticed any performance problem and the code clears itself after three starts.
