Just checking , Goerend Trans parts ?

A friend is getting some trans work done , and I have thought a lot of Goerend trans .
He said that his guy said the Goerend wanted to get billet converter fronts from him , I thought that Dave was making at least the insides of the TQ , but has any body heard that the billet is out sourced ? not an issue , I know that nobody is making every part of every thing they do , just wanting to know that when I refer to a product that I have read about & think is good [ trying to save up to get a Goerend trans ] kinda like winning a debate .
