EGT/Pyro Front of manifold vs back

Since I flipped my ATS manifold for my twins install my probe is in the front part of the manifold instead of the back as it was before. Does anyone have one in both? If so, what sort of temperature difference from front to back are you seeing. I know the back is supposed to be the hottest therefore the safest location. I'll drill a new hole to put it in the back and use the other to measure drive pressures.

The boss for the probes is in the bottom now and it's kind of a pain working under there. Anyone drill through the bottom part of the manifold (now the top for me) for a probe? It should be thick enough but I'd hate to screw up the manifold or not have enough material for a few threads on the fitting.

Thanks,
Mike
