Rip Rook, Many,Many, Thanks!

I had decided to upgrade my injectors, after contemplating for at least a year, I had chosen Dynomite Diesel 90hp tips. (because of turnaround time for F1's, which I really want).

While speaking to a local shop, they assured me F1's were within my grasp, They have done alot of them. OK, I have 2 weeks before my vacation, no problem, Flux 1's on the way 02/04/08.

02/15/08 call for status, no word, they will check. 02/18/08 first day of my vacation, visit the shop, they cannot tell me which Formula 1 Dealer, how they shipped them (fed ex ?) nothing!

I call Rip (I know he is a Formula 1 Dealer), He is only aware of an inquiry from the shop in January, but he will check it out. Rip calls me back, no idea what's going on, get me a tracking #.
The shop cannot provide a #, acts like this is Rip's problem.

02/20/08, shop knows nothing, Rip has contacted Don M, he has no knowledge of my injectors. Rip tells me, get me a tracking #, anything so he can help me. I have been to the shop twice today, noon and 18:00hrs, no idea?

02/21/08 I call the shop, nothing, says Rip will not answer their calls? Rip says he gets their mail box. Getting real ****** here.

The shop calls me late, says my injectors showed up back at their shop the day before???, and they ground shipped them to Formula 1 that day??, gave me a tracking #. The shop claims they were lost in US mail for 15 days?

Late 02/21/08 give Rip the tracking #, he verifies, and tells me he will take care of it, even though it's was NEVER run through his business.

I have to back step a bit here, while my injectors were lost???, Rip informed me, Flux tips, were not available for 03's. What the hell! If my injectors ever arrive at Formula 1, what should they do? We (Rip&me) decide on 75hp extruded hone injectors by "Don M".

02/26/08 Injectors arrived at Formula 1, Don M says they are from an 03, low mileage, cream puffs! He does his Magic, sends them back.

02/29/08 today is the 25th day. Retrieve my truck, "negotiate" an equally agreeable exchange of $s.......

Here's the bottom line and the purpose of this post, Rip Rook took over, went above and beyond the call, Thank you Rip.

Richard Martin, owner of Glacier Diesel Power, Spoke with the shop, on my behalf, Thank you Richard.

Bryan Howell, owner of Diesel Power Products, offered me the keys to his personal truck!, Thank you Bryan.

Bob Wagner, Smarty, Formula 1 Dealer, after hearing from Rip, Called me at home, at 19:00hrs, to give me moral support!!! Thank you Bob.

This has been one heck of a month, I am grateful and thankful, to all of those who have stepped up, to help me.

Jess

Side note: Rip borrowed a cell phone from a customer to call the shop, they picked up 1st ring! caller ID.
