DPF/Cat insulation blankets
I had a long conversation with the owner of Advanced Thermal Products the other day about installing and using his products on my exhaust system. The more he explained the advantages of keeping the exhaust hotter the more I have studied the idea. Especially in the winter I think wrapping the exhaust from the turbo to the end of the DPF is a really great idea. It does seem to me that if your system has a much higher temp the less often your ECM is going to call for a regen.
Any ideas?
