Van Akken Fueling box

I had a Van Akken box on my 2001.5 for several years. However,
I hate to admit this, I do not know if the box adds fuel or advances
timing or both. Does anyone know how this box operates?

If someone knows I would appreciate your input. I am trying to
sell it and the potential buyer would like to know, and now so would
