Used Edge EZ pro/con's

Just wondering whats the best way to go,buy a new EZ or take
a chance with buying a used one.I'm a little hesitant about buying
a used one but there seems to be a few in the classifieds at
some what of a bargain price.Opinions needed and I'm a tight
wad when it comes to spending $$$$$. Thanks
