piggyback powermax and ez!

i was thinking of doing away with my drag comp. reason being people say that it is probably to much timing on my high output motor. i recently did have a blown headgasket at 20,000 miles. i was just wanting some feedback on piggybacking the powermax and ez. some one told me that as of just lately the powermax and ez were not stacking well together. they said the powermax made more horsepower by itself than it stacked with the ez. any info would help my decision.
