Turbo Noise With a aFe Air Filter

I installed a Magnum Force intake system by aFe, and now have a louder turbo whistle, not to mention a loud whooshing sound when I lightly step on the gas. Any Ideas to quiet it down and keep the performance ? Also I am looking for a operating ram air hood that will function on my truck, Any ideas, and is it worth it ?
