Thumbs up PE 4200 install

I installed the ADT PE 4200 fuel kit yesterday. which included the 1/2" stand pipe and billet filter.came out real nice.
(pic's in gallery) the stand pipe is a small project, but worth it IMO. one thing i did notice is in the fact setup is the pickup kinda floats w/ the canister. the stand pipe wont do that.(if the tank bottom come's in contact w/ any thing the canister would float accordingly. i solved this prob.(i hope ) by notching the stand pipe in a cross pattern on the bottom as to if the pu gets to closeto the tank bottom it won't block fuel flow. i gave about 3/8"+ in clearance to tank bottom for the stand pipe. (might be a little more) bout same as the ears on the canister.ck out the pics
it's easier to see. had to "S" bend the pipe to get it to the location inside the canister i wanted.i removed all the screening and pickup's also. i left the stock pickup as it was easier to just leave it. The pump is sweet!!!! i don't know about the complaints iv'e heard, but it is Quiet! . my carter pusher was MUCH louder . The wireing kit that comes w/ the setup is first class also. had to install a mech, fp gauge as to
the eletric didn't read high enough. also installed a mech. Oil
Pressure gauge and a "pro-lite" for quick warning of low op.
Lites at 15 psi (had a spare one from the race car so why not ) i also removed all the fact. lift pump junk!have'nt got to realy test it yet , will post results soon. also w/ the gauge reading E (very E) it still made fp and fired after a little cranking. Thanks Scott
