timing and fueling boxes...i have a ?

i presently have a JVD 20%/50% fueling box that works great, but it doesn't do any timing adjustments. after playing around with my brothers Edge Comp, i seem to think that timing plays as important if not more important role in the performance of the ISB. so here is my question, should i just add an EZedge to my JVD, or should i replace the JVD with a Comp? i am familiar with the adjustments that the Comp has that i would be giving up, just looking for ideas and opinions from other people who have done the same or are more educated than i (doesn't take much

).
