Aloha! Here is the story gentlemen. I recently won through a drawing a new PT Cruiser. Needless to say i took the cash value of 20K. Im a single guy, have no bills or debt, and want my truck to go fast. Here is the problem. I have a stock 01.5 ETC, with 4:10,and single cab 4x4. Im not a mechanical guru, i can do somewhat complex things but i usually end up with extra pieces after the rebuild. I want my truck to run low 14's, high 13's, and be able to tow my livestock trailer on the weekends. I have been a lurker now for sometime, being how my experience is limited but now i am asking for help. Being out in the middle of the pacific adds to the challenge but thats ok, gotta pay the price to live in paradise. I know that the first thing i need is a tranny. Can i get a clean swap? I only have 25k miles on mine right now and it has performed flawlessly so far. Without getting into a tranny war does any company have a complete tranny to swap? So now what about fuel, what kind of upgrades to the delivery system needs to happen. I know i will need a fuel/timing box and injectors too, i dont care about smoke but i will be towing quite a bit. What kind of turbo would best suite my needs now? Im sure a 4 inch exhaust will be in order too and some sort of air cleaner for the EGT's. Am i missing anything else..
