Cam for faster spool-up?

I've been thinking alot about how to get my EGT's down and manigable without going the direct route to twins...don't have the $$$ for twins, and am not sure I want to go through the whole process of putting them on.

Would a DD or PDR cam do anything for me with my KSB1-B? I spend 8 months a year at 5000' elevation and the other 4 at 4000'. Just looking for a little cheaper way to a quicker spool and lower EGT's.
