Best Bang for the Buck

Howdy all, I have a 03 Ca. edition CC 4x4. I am looking to get rid of the lag time that happens after you put your foot into the throttle. I hate that delay and slow acceleration. Any ideas on the best bang for the buck. Don't have much to spend. I've read about the edge ez, tow pro, plus a bunch of others. I will be towing a 35' 5th wheel with this truck, but right now I drive it to work and back every day (120 miles round trip). Thanks in advance. John
