Boost pressures and EZ?????????

Had to remove the EZ and send back for warranty. Great service from Edge. Anyway, just made a trip to billings and my boost while in OD I could not get it to go past 20 or 21? Is that normal? In 3rd I could hit 25 sometimes............With the EZ hooked up does it actually increase boost pressures?
