Battery Charger

I am looking to upgrade my current battery charger since a friend is in the market for one. I have a 12 volt wheeled charger. It is a 2 amp trickle charge, 40 amp rapid charge and 200 amp start Schumacher unit. I want to upgrade to a unit that is capable of charging both 6 and 12 volt batteries since I have a 1952 Dodge pick-up that has a 6 volt system.

Does anyone have any recomendations other than the gold plated Snap-on units? I want a good quality unit without breaking the bank.

I have looked at both the high end Diehard and Shumacher units. I am leaning toward the Schumacher which has higher amperage ratings.
