One Big Old Clutch...
You know you're on that slippery slope to being a bombaholic when your clutch seems to be made of.... ice, slipping whenever you step on the big pedal too quickly. Had a late model Firebird literally slip away from me tonight while I helplessly watched my tach head for the ceiling.
But I think I found my fix thanks to Tom at Carolina Clutch. Great guy to deal with. Really knows his stuff. (No, he didn't pay me to say this and we ain't related.)
Luk finally came out with a 13" Ceramic for 2nd Gen 5-speeds that should hold a lot more than I'm ever gonna throw at it. It costs a few bucks, but it sure looks impressive sitting om my living room floor right now.
I'm sure that the UPS guy hates me. This thing is HUGE!!! Darn kit came in 2 boxes and weighs over 100 lbs, comes with a new flywheel and starter spacer.
Should get it bolted up in a couple weeks. Film @ 11:00.
Now where'd those bigger injectors go??
Mmmmmmmm....... Bigger Turbo.
