Degreasers
I could use some suggestions for chemical degreasers. Powerful degreasers. My favorite (not that I've tried very many) is Gunk Carb + Parts Cleaner . Very powerful, but also very expensive ($25/gallon). I need a fairly large quantity, so I was wondering if anyone has any cheaper (possibly home-grown) solutions that are good at cutting grease.
Is Kerosene a good choice? I've never used it before, but it just occured to me that it might be particularly effective (and very cheap). Will soaking in Kerosene remove paint from metal?
