Sept. 20th NorCal Picnic: More E.G. Park information/map

Hi all:

Elk Grove Regional Park Info:
1. Yes the per vehicle fee is $4.00/day. Keep the "ticket" they give you so you can come and go from the park and not pay a second time.

For any last minute picnic supplies, there are three large Grocery Stores on Elk Grove Boulevard on both sides of SR-99 and before you get to Elk Grove Florin Road (Pac-n-Save, Raley's & BelAir markets). Wal-Mart is very close too.

2. Here is the Park map again. http://www.egcsd.ca.gov/parks/harvest/egparkmap.pdf I was told All reserved areas are now reserved at this late date. Referring to the map, I might try to snag a spot in picnic Area 7 or 3C, however I won't really know until I get there Sat morning.

3. I believe most folks will shoot for about a 9 - 10 AM arrival.
